No Name

I would be staying at Ah Yee’s for a while. Her head down, Mother took the red envelope from Ah Yee’s hand. She won’t look at me. She refuses to see my tears. As she walked out the door, I imagined myself calling for her, begging for her to take me back. But even my imagination knew.
